Bacon-Wrapped Brussels Sprouts: A Festive Embrace of Flavor

Welcome to a culinary celebration wrapped in warmth and flavor.
Our Bacon-Wrapped Brussels Sprouts aren’t just an appetizer — they’re a festive embrace, a golden-brown ode to simplicity elevated. Crafted for those intimate gatherings or grand holiday tables, each bite captures the essence of indulgence with the rustic soul of seasonal cooking.

A Winter’s Delight in Every Bite

Picture a tender Brussels sprout, kissed by the oven’s heat until its edges caramelize, wrapped snugly in crisp bacon, and glazed with a whisper of pure maple syrup. What begins as a humble vegetable becomes a starlet of the holiday spread — crisp, sweet, smoky, and soul-warming.

This recipe captures that elusive culinary harmony where bitterness, saltiness, and sweetness intertwine — a triple crescendo of taste and texture.

The Elegance of Simplicity

This isn’t a dish that hides behind complexity. With just a few premium ingredients — Brussels sprouts, thin-cut smoked bacon, and amber maple syrup — you compose an appetizer that speaks volumes. The magic lies not in abundance but in the balance, the restraint, the careful craft.

Each sprout is halved and seasoned with olive oil and a dash of cracked pepper. The bacon crisps into a savory shell, while the syrup forms a golden glaze that caramelizes in the oven, bringing depth to every mouthful.

Seasonal Sophistication on Your Table

Whether served as a prelude to dinner or passed around with cocktails by the fire, these savory bites offer more than just flavor — they offer experience. Each morsel is hand-wrapped and oven-roasted with care, making them perfect for make-ahead planning or last-minute magic.

Garnish with a sprinkle of rosemary or flaky salt if you’re feeling inspired, or let their honest flavors shine unadorned.

Culinary Freedom in a Bite

At Gourmara, we believe in inspiration over imitation. This recipe is your starting point — a foundation. Love spice? Add a pinch of chili flakes. Prefer a touch of zest? A hint of orange peel in the glaze creates a stunning twist. You’re not just making an appetizer — you’re curating a moment.

Perfect for Every Occasion

  • Holiday dinner starters
  • Elegant cocktail receptions
  • Cozy family nights by the fire
  • Outdoor brunches with flair

No matter the event, these Bacon-Wrapped Brussels Sprouts are a flavorful showstopper.

Storage and Reheating

Make them ahead and refrigerate uncooked for up to 3 days. Once baked, reheat gently in the oven at 350°F for 5–7 minutes to restore the crispy magic. They’re best enjoyed hot — just like cherished holiday memories.
